Baby Kate Update, School & Buddy Walk

Kate had her one month well baby check on Monday.  We were dying to find out how much she weighs now, because to us she just looks like she's getting so big.  She weighed in at 8 lbs 7 oz.  When she was born she weighed 5 lbs 12 oz so she's gained almost 3 pounds in 5 weeks.  She's gone from 19 inches at birth to 21 inches long.  She's still eating about every hour and half to two hours and she's not sleeping through the night yet.  So I'm basically like a zombie right now.  She's spoiled rotten and needs to be help all the time, which I honestly don't mind doing while we're at home.  But when we're at the store and I'm trying to get work done it's a little frustrating.  But she's still the sweetest baby girl around.

The boys started school a couple weeks ago.  Gabe is going 3 days a week now; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  He's in the Grasshoppers class.  Alot of his friends from last year are in his class and he's so excited about that!  He's really doing great and he's learning lots of sign language which makes me happy.  He's got two great teachers.  Ryan is still going 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.  He's in the Tiny Turtles class again this year.  He won't be 3 until October and the cut off for the three year old class was September 1st.  I wasn't too upset because the 3 year olds have to be potty trained and my little Ryan just isn't interested in the potty yet.  We really need to work on that.  He wasn't as thrilled about school as I thought he'd be.  He's adapted a lot more quickly this year than he did last year though.  I think he just loves all the attention he gets from his teacher though. She just loves on him so much I think he's just eating it up.  I'm so happy that the boys are back into a routine and learning new things.  It's such a great school and I must admit that I miss teaching there so much.
Last weekend was the Buddy Walk for the Down Syndrome Association.  It's a yearly event for us.  We always go out to support Kylie.  It was at the Bricktown Ballpark again this and it was lots of fun.  We tried to get the boys picture with the OU cheerleaders, but Ryan was shy and just wouldn't cooperate.
