Thanksgiving Part 1
Last Saturday we went down to Hennessey to have Thanksgiving with Matt's grandparents, his mom, aunts, and cousins. It was lots of fun. His grandparents hadn't met Kate yet, so they had a good time holding her and getting to know her. She wasn't in the greatest of moods that day, but she was pleasant for little while. The boys had a blast playing outside with their cousin Austin. The food was great and it was good to see everyone.

Pictures...
Last Friday was Crazy Hair Day at the boys preschool. The boys decided they want to color their hair. Gabe wanted red and blue hair and Ryan wanted green hair like the green goblin (of course). So the day before we went on a search for temporary hair color. The only color we could find was neon orange. Here are a few pictures.

42 days and counting...
There are only 42 days until Christmas and I am completely behind. I couldn't sleep tonight because I was thinking of all the things I need to do. I haven't even started Christmas shopping. Since my schedule is so hectic now I decided I needed some help this year. So I got out of bed and got on the computer and I found a couple of cool websites. The first is OrganizedChristmas.com and it's got some printable planners. I love planners, granted I never keep up with them, but I still love them. And another website I found is Cozi.com. It's kind of like a family planner website. You can go on and set a calendar for each family member, you can make shopping lists and you can even have the lists and appointments on your calender sent to your phone. I thought they were pretty cool and decided I would share them with you!

Halloween Layouts
I've been on the computer almost all day. My house is a mess and I need to clean, but I decided to do some scrapbooking today. I thought I'd do some Halloween layouts. I did all three of the kids first Halloweens. It was fun!

He's got an answer for everything...
Gabe is so much like his dad, it's crazy. One of the things he gets from Matt is that he's got an answer for everything. Here's an example...
On Monday I took all the kids to the doctor for flu shots. Gabe and Ryan were crying and saying they didn't need a flu shot. While I was trying to coax them into getting the shot here's a conversation Gabe and I had.
Me: "You know who else gets flu shots?"
Gabe: "Who?"
Me: "Spiderman gets flu shots."
Gabe: "No he doesn't!"
Me: "Yes, he does! Spiderman can't get sick, who do you think will save everyone if Spiderman gets sick?"
After thinking for a minute Gabe looks at me and says very matter of factly: "Batman."
He's always got an answer...

We had a great Halloween! Gabe was "The Red Spiderman" and Ryan was "The Black Spiderman". Kate was a ladybug. She was so cute in her red and black tutu and her red hat. She hated the hat though. She screamed everytime I put it on her. I only got a few pictures of her in the hat. She loved looking at her Aunt NeeNee. We went trick or treating with Kylie, Maddie, K-Bub, Zach, NeeNee, Kimmie, Meme, and Papa. The boys had a blast. They ran all the way around my parent's neighborhood. It was a fun night, the boys got tons of candy.
