A Sooner, A Pony, & a New Room...

We're keeping busy here in the Seaton household! We've re-done Ryan's bedroom. He now has an airplane bedroom. I've been dying to make over his room for the longest time. It has been the same ever since Gabe was a baby. I am so happy with how it turned out! We still need to add some more details, but the hard part is done! My very talented friend Stephanie painted an airplane for his room and it looks so good! Thanks so much, Stephanie! :)

We also had a very busy Halloween. My parents sold their house across the street from us. (Yes, we're very sad about that) But they bought a beautiful new house, and we were trying to help them move on Halloween. The boys and I weren't much help, but we were there for moral support. But we got home just in time to take a nap and get all dressed up to go trick or treating. Gabe was a OU football player and Ryan was Boomer the horse (one of OU's mascots). I like to do "theme" halloweens. Last year Gabe was a firefighter and Ryan was a dalmation dog. That's going to be hard to keep up, I know. Anyway, I'm rambling now here are some pictures from Halloween. I better be going. I'm supposed to babysit for a friend of mine tonight, so I better go clean up the house! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Here are a few pictures I've taken recently. I've been messing around with Photoshop trying to learn different techniques...

Happy Birthday, Ryan!

Saturday Ryan turned 2! I can't believe my baby is two already! We had his party at Jump Zone and we had a blast! Thanks to everyone who came out and jumped with us! Ryan loves airplanes so his party was all about airplanes. It was a pretty nice and relaxing party up until the end. They only give you 30 minutes to eat cake and open presents. And Ryan is so blessed with such sweet friends and family that he had too many presents to open and not enough time to open them all! So a few people didn't get to see Ryan open their gifts! And we're so sorry about that! But he and Gabe have definitely been enjoying all the new toys in our house this weekend! Here are a few pictures from the party...

busy...

My life has been so busy lately! It may not seem busy to a lot of you, but it's busy to me. After I quit teaching at Noah's Ark I decided I was going to have a nice, relaxing year. And boy did I! You might even call it a lazy year. The boys and I just had fun, we had no commitments and we just did whatever we wanted. And I am so glad I took advantage of that time. Because now I feel like I'm going in a million different directions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily complaining. I kind of like being back in a schedule and having places that I have to be. And this new teaching job has reconnected me with a group of girls I haven't seen in a long time. I am so glad that I'm getting to know them again. This past year I had a lot of free time, but it was a lot of free time with my boys. Not much mommy time. And this new job has allowed me to start having adult conversations with other moms on a regular basis. I am just so happy with my life right now. And I am so thankful that God has provided me with this opportunity. I have an amazing husband who is so supportive of everything I do, and two unbelievably cute boys who just fill my life with such joy! I feel extremely blessed. :)

Buddy Walk...

I'm a little behind on this post. Last Saturday we went to support Kylie and the National Down Syndrome Society at the Buddy Walk. It was held downtown at the Bricktown Ballpark. It is always such a good time and this year was no different! They have all kinds of fun activities for the kids to enjoy such as: pony rides, inflatables, and lots of games! The boys had a blast riding the ponies. Here are just a few pictures from the walk...

Matt and I and the boys also went to the Myriad Gardens last Saturday to try to get some good pictures of the boys. We didn't get quite as many as I would have liked, but here are some of the ones that turned out...
